UAB Bautopas was established in 2000. The company started its activity from the production of brickwork accessories and their supply from abroad; today the Company is the leader of design and production of brick veneer facades in the Baltic countries’ market. The products of UAB Bautopas comprise a single system under the brand name BAUT®.
To use decoration brick facades more widely as the brickwork which has a colourful history in Lithuania was for centuries one of the most reliable and mostly used constructions; such facades do not require specific maintenance, it creates aesthetic added value architecture for future generations.

Tests of the prefabricated facing brick panel were carried out.
Ceramic bricks are most frequently used for arranging the cladding layer of external layered masonry walls. The recent tendency
has focused on a thinner cladding layer. Masonry lintels are used for making openings in the cladding layer. The article presents
the results of experimental investigation in masonry lintels of 85 mm and 55 mm in width and 2 m long span. The experimentally
established and calculated according to EC6 recommendations masonry lintels bearing load capacity has been compared.
Tested brick lintel of hollow ceramic bricks (opening up to 2,09m wide) shows that lintel bearing capacity and the formation of cracks time margin is 3 times lower than calculated value.
The project evaluates the influence of the brackets on the heat transfer by point thermal bridges.
